The Emerge Summer Leadership Institute (ESLI) is a comprehensive one-week program designed to welcome and prepare incoming first-year students admitted to the President's Emerging Scholars (PES) program at the University. The one-week Institute is offered twice during the summer with options to live on campus or commute. This transformative experience is crafted to equip students with the leadership skills, tools, and mindset to thrive both academically and personally during their college journey and beyond.

Why Leadership Development?

Starting college is a big transition filled with a lot of unknowns and excitement. The leadership curriculum facilitated during the Emerge program was specifically designed for PES. We will use our time to introduce you to the skills, confidence, and community needed to navigate the University successfully.
