The Emerge Summer Leadership Institute is an excellent opportunity to help students feel prepared and excited to begin their college journey. Spots are limited, and the application is on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage them to apply as soon as possible!
Step One
Check the program eligibility requirements and expectations to be sure you are eligible to apply for Emerge.
Step Two
Prepare your application information and materials. The application will ask for the following:
- Your name and pronouns
- Your UMN email address and an alternative email address
- Your UMN student ID number
- The UMN college you were admitted to (ie. CLA, CEHD, CBS, etc)
- Your anticipated major
- Housing preferences
